How to Care for your Personalised Gift

ADHESIVE VINYL

The adhesive vinyl used can usually last 5 years when outdoors or exposed to the elements if the adhesive is allowed to fully cure for 24 hours. Adhesive vinyl is typically applied to surfaces such as glass, stainless steel and plastics. 

To make your adhesive vinyl last longer,

• Wipe clean. Do not excessively scrub the vinyl.
• Do not soak the item in water. 
• Do not place in the dishwasher.
• Do not use in the microwave.

 

HEAT TRANSFER VINYL (HTV)

Heat transfer vinyl is usually used on fabric, leather and wood. To allow the heat-activated adhesive to fully cure, do not wash the item in the first 24 hours.

• For best results, wash inside out with cold water and hang to dry or tumble dry on low.
